KEI Programs in Bangkok, Thailand: KEI offers 8 subject-specific study and intern abroad programs at Mahidol University's International College (MUIC), in Bangkok, Thailand. A wide variety of English-taught courses are offered. Mahidol University is the most prestigious university in Thailand, and MUIC has an international faculty and student body (from nearly 50 countries worldwide). Summer, semester, and all-year programs are offered.
Setting Description: The program is based 12 miles from central Bangkok in a beautiful suburban campus (520 acres), and hosted by Mahidol University?s International College (MUIC). Students can choose to live on or near campus.
Program Value: Programs in Bangkok, ThailandKEI's PreMedicine, Health, and Biomedical Science Program emphasizes courses, research, and clinical internships in medicine, nursing, health-related disciplines and biomedicine. Internships are also available.
KEI's Science, Math, and Engineering Research Program emphasizes courses and research in the natural and life sciences, mathematics and/or engineering.
KEI's Computer Science and Software Engineering Program emphasizes software engineering, programming, computer architecture, networking, databases, computer graphics, multimedia, and related disciplines.
KEI's Environmental and Ecological Studies focuses on environmental studies, ecology, botany, zoology, geology, meteorology, and related subjects.
KEI's Southeast Asian Business, Law & Diplomacy Program emphasizes courses and internships in international business management, marketing, finance, accounting, economics, public relations, Asian affairs, and legal studies. A 3-credit Southeast Asian Studies Seminar is required.
KEI's Southeast Asian Tourism and Hospitality Management Program emphasizes courses and internships in international travel and tourism, hospitality and hotel management, recreation and entertainment, and food and beverage management. It offers a unique opportunity to learn about tourism and hospitality in a uniquely multinational setting.
KEI's Psychology, Sociology, and Human Behavior emphasizes general, behavioral, counseling, and organizational psychology as well as the social sciences.
KEI's Southeast Asian Studies and Languages Program emphasizes intensive Thai, Chinese, and/or Japanese language training, and courses in Southeast Asian studies. A 3-credit Southeast Asian Studies Seminar is required.
