Soulaz Communications From lush pine fairy-tale forests to white sand beaches, Portugal offers a varied landscape in a compact little country. Often lumped together with Spanish, Portuguese is a distinct language sharing vocabulary with Spanish, grammar with Italian, and pronunciation with Arabic. This fusion of many cultures is reflected in the Portuguese people, who are lucky enough to enjoy one of the most liberal societies in Europe, while maintaining their traditions.

Setting In Lisbon, there are only two directions, uphill and downhill. This graceful city, with its centuries old winding streets of the old Moorish quarter to the trendy shops and of the moment clubs of the grid-laid Barrio Alto, makes an ideal location to study the Portuguese language.
