Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS) - Murray State University (MSU) The Segovia,Spain Semester Program will last thirteen weeks. Students must have completed at least twelve hours of college-level Spanish or the equivalent. All courses in the Spanish Language Option will be taught in Spanish and students will be expected to speak Spanish at all times.

Overview The program offers courses in Advanced Spanish Language, Culture & Literature. All courses will make use of local and regional resources and will be taught by qualified Spanish faculty and the program director. students will be required to take a minimum of four regularly-scheduled courses.

Setting Segovia, Spain is a pleasant provincial capital only 90 minutes from Madrid. For both linguistic and cultural reasons, Segovia, in the heart of Castile, is an ideal location for the study of Spanish language and culture. All areas of the city are easily accessible without a car.

Value Qualified students may take courses from both the Spanish Language and Honors/ Humanities Options. The grades and credits earned in the program will be awarded by Murray State University and then automatically transferred to the student's home institution.
