Setting Unique among U.S. institutions in Paris, the CIEE Study Center at the Paris Center for Critical Studies, founded in 1973, offers courses in contemporary film, literature, philosophy, aesthetics, and critical theory taught by well-known specialists and university professors. Located on Paris’ Right Bank, in the 8th arrondissement between the Arc de Triomphe and Paris’ grand boulevards, the Center occupies one floor of a beautiful Haussmann-style building. In addition to special courses taught in French by CIEE-hired faculty at the Center, students may audit or take courses at the University of Paris.

State University of New York (SUNY) The State University of New York (SUNY) currently offers more than 400 overseas study programs in more than 50 countries: in North and South America, Africa, Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Prerequisites: None Trend Forecasting (FAS 323) an examination of how to identify, track and analyze trends in business, society and fashion that impact merchandise assortment planning. Prerequisites: Survey of Fashion History (FAS 220) The program consists of a series of formal lectures, hands-on workshops and academic excursions which bring you into contact with Paris fashion industry professionals who can provide a truly international perspective on what it?s like to work in the fashion industry.
