VFP offers over 3000 affordable international voluntary service projects worldwide in more than 100 countries. These programs are an affordable way to complete meaningful community service work while living and interacting in an international environment.
VFP programs feature "hands on" training in a variety of skills in an intercultural setting. Some students have obtained academic credit for their international volunteering when organized via their institution in advance.
Most programs feature group living with men and women sharing the same living space and mutual responsibility for food preparation, cleaning, recreation, entertainment and work projects.
Making friends worldwide, intercultural learning, various manual and social skills, foreign language training, cooking, community service, FUN, etc.
Between $330 - $800 depending on location & length of stay. This includes food & accommodation. Volunteers are responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to the project location.
