Projects Abroad
Teaching in Romania

Contact:

Romania was one of the countries where Projects Abroad started - our first volunteers went out in 1992. Following the revolution of 1989 everyone realized the importance of learning English. The problem is many of the best qualified English teachers are tempted by higher wages outside of the classroom. If you can speak English in Romania, it is the key to a good job. Based in Brasov, you'll work alongside local English teachers, building the students' confidence to speak English. Local teachers will work on their grammar skills while you get them talking. It doesn't matter if it is talking about life in your country, politics, your pet dog or your favorite sing - it all helps them to learn English.
