Menéndez Pelayo International University-Sevilla
; ; The Menendez Pelayo International University (UIMP) was founded by Spain's Ministry of Education in 1932 under the name, University of Santander. In 1945 it acquired its present title. An autonomous institution that reports to Spain's Ministry of Education and Science, the UIMP continues to have its central campus in the city of Santander, where it originated. However, the UIMP has increased its presence and reputation in Spain by offering post-graduate seminars in various fields, numerous courses in Spanish as a Second Language, and courses in English, at various satellite campuses throughout Spain. In the city of Sevilla, ISA has partnered with the UIMP to expand the UIMP's course offerings in language, culture and business with courses offered in Spanish and English. ISA's Sevilla Academic Center, located in the famous Barrio Santa Cruz, now serves as one of the UIMP's classroom centers, where students of various national origins can go to study.

; ; Pablo de Olavide University
; ; Established in 1997, the Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) is one of the youngest public universities in Spain, but has grown quickly with its dedication to higher learning. The UPO offers a permanent forum for debate and reflection on the challenges of contemporary society and culture. Topics such as globalization, defense and promotion of human rights, mass communication, and environmental issues are addressed through courses, conferences, discussions, exhibitions, publications, and workshops. The university also takes special interest in sports activities and has remodeled and expanded its athletic facilities. The Pablo de Olavide University is similar in many ways to contemporary US universities in regards to its campus facilities and academic philosophy.

; ; The University of Sevilla, founded in 1551, is one of the oldest universities in Spain. It is a state institution under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and one of the largest universities in Spain, with an enrollment of over 75,000 students. The university grants undergraduate degrees as well as doctorates. ISA currently has agreements with three of the university's facultades (i.e. schools/faculties): The Facultad de Filología (Philology), the Facultad de Geografía e Historia (Geography and History) and the Facultad de Economía (Economics). The Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Geography and History are housed in the university's central downtown complex, located next to the famous Plaza de España. The School of Economics is located within minutes of the downtown complex in one of the more modern sections of the university. The University of Sevilla has four libraries available to all students: Dante Alighieri (the Library of Philology, History, and Geography), the Library of Manuals, the Art library, and the general library. In addition, each department has its own research facilities.

Semester at Sea sails three voyages each year for academic credit. Unlike traditional immersion programs, we give you a taste of the entire globe as you travel more than 24,000 nautical miles to as many as 12 off-the-beaten-path international destinations or to a fascinating world region for intensive exploration. Approximately 35-40 upper- and lower-level courses are offered in a variety of subject areas.

University of Granada
; ; The origins of the University of Granada can be traced back to the 14th century Arabic University of Madraza. With a history of over 700 years, the university is regarded as one of the country's major intellectual centers. The University of Granada has an enrollment of over 80,000 students, 5,000 of which are international students. Founded in 1992, the Center for Modern Languages (CLM) provides courses in Spanish language and culture to foreign students, and also offers foreign language courses for local Spanish students.

; ; Because of the university's prestige, the student population has grown and has resulted in the creation of a second building for the CLM. Both buildings house classes for Spanish students and foreign students, providing an opportunity for Spanish and foreign students to meet and learn from each other outside of the classroom. In order to ensure an interactive learning environment, the university places a maximum of fifteen students in each language class.
