The program, for upper-level undergraduates and graduate students, is designed to give direct hands-on experience in the primary health care, public health, economic development and NGO capacity-building sectors of the Republic of Senegal; and an understanding of the region's health, social and development concerns. The course includes a review of current development concepts and indicators, and examines the relationship between global health and development.
