Cultural program will include: visits to the Estonia National Art Museum, Museum of Occupation, Estonian History Museum, city tours of Tallinn and Tartu, attendance of a performance at the National Ballet and Opera Theatre "Estonia".

During this module conversational skills will be improved and attention will also be paid to writing and reading skills.
III. Estonian language for the students at intermediate level (3CP, August 3 - 14, 2009) In this module conversational, writing and reading skills will be improved.
IV. Estonian language for the students at upper-intermediate level (3CP, August 3 - 14, 2009)
The aim of the course is to expand vocabulary and deepen grammatical skills.

Economies In Turmoil: Threats and Opportunities in the Baltics

Four leading Baltic universities offer a business oriented program with strong practical emphasis on company visits in three Baltic countries - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The goal of the program is to familiarize the students with current challenges and opportunities facing the Baltic economies through company visits and discussion meetings with upper-level managers of local and international businesses. Cultural events of the program will include city tours, visits to renowned museums and landmarks as well as attendances of dance or musical performances.

Procedures in European International Courts

Students will get acquainted with the judicial machinery of the two significant international court systems - the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg and the European Court of Human Right in Strasbourg. Emphasis will be on the practical issues which will be encountered by lawyers preparing cases for both courts, as well on the insights how cases are reviewed and prepared for the judgments in both courts. Both modules dealing with the courts will give a short overview of the basic legal texts utilized by the courts, as well as of the enforcement mechanisms. The complex relationship between the Luxembourg and Strasbourg courts will be addressed in the framework of the new European Constitution.
