Our program in Dublin offers acting, cinema studies, and puppetry courses. Students receive an introduction to Irish theatre and train with one of Ireland's leading professional theatre directors for the techniques needed to perform contemporary Irish plays. Training includes voice, movement, physical character, and scene study. Students may also study cinema in contemporary Ireland; examining the history of Irish cinema and how cinematic styles and themes have evolved since the 1980s. In the puppetry course, students train in puppet manipulation, acting with puppets, voicing multiple characters, and staging puppetry and study puppet culture and the world history of puppetry. Students earn 8 points (credits).
