Educational Summer Camp

The Educational Summer Camp is open to high school students 14 - 18 years of age who have an intermediate or higher level of knowledge of the English language. The program includes 5 educational courses: Writing Skills, Business, Computer Skills, Individual Development and Community Skills, and Journalism. Each course is one week long and will be taught in English. Each student will select in advance and take 3 out of these 5 courses. Afternoon classes, sports, excursions, movie nights, disco nights, and other activities are also included in the Camp program to make it both intensive and entertaining. Students will work with a team of American teachers and local educational specialists.

The Bulgarian Language, Culture, and History program includes Bulgarian language instruction at three levels, Bulgarian literature and history classes, workshops on culture and traditions, and teacher accompanied field trips to sites of historical and cultural interest. Sports, crafts, folklore dances, movie nights, cooking, and other activities make the program intensive and entertaining.
