The program consists of four parts: Lab research, life sciences discussion forum with Berlin excursion, intensive language instruction, and intercultural skills course with cultural excursions. Students spend much of their time in the lab, participating in an intensive scientific project and are exposed to basic technologies in biochemistry, genetics, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, or microscopy techniques, culminating in a written scientific protocol and an oral presentation.
