Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero; ; The Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) is named after the Buenos Aires suburb in which the university is located. UNTREF is the first public university in Argentina to have ever designed a program specifically for foreign students and holds numerous teaching alliances with universities in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the United States. All of its professors hold international degrees and have worked or studied abroad themselves. Since the university's inauguration in 1995 has grown to offer 18 different majors to over 3000 students. The UNTREF is fully accredited by the Argentine Ministry of Education.; ; While students will be taught by UNTREF staff, classes will be held at the Centro Cultural Borges in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The CCB is located within the Galerías Pacífico which is one of the most well-known historical buildings in the city. The Summer in Argentina: Intensive Spanish Language program is designed for students of all language levels whose goal is to improve their Spanish language competency.

The program runs in multiple four week sessions in June, July and August (students can attend more than one session) and is dedicated to improving Spanish language skills. This program offers multiple levels of academic instruction so students are placed at an instruction level appropriate to their language skills.

We supplement academic instruction with cultural immersion experiences in Buenos Aires that give a taste of Argentinean culture and build comfort interacting in Spanish.
