Program Description:

John Cabot University offers 13 American Bachelor of Arts degree programs, as well as study abroad opportunities. We welcome 1700 study abroad students per year, during our semesters or summer sessions.

Studying abroad has become an essential feature of today’s university experience. Employers and graduate schools prefer candidates with international experience who demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and intercultural communication skills.

John Cabot University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education to operate as an American university in Italy.

You will take between 12 and 17 credits, which can be transferred back to your home university so you can stay on track for graduation. Please check with your academic advisor or study abroad office for details.

You will learn in small classes from professors who encourage dialogue and use the city of Rome as a learning laboratory. You will have opportunities to intern at multinational companies, international organizations, consulates, and museums, as well as opportunities to travel throughout Europe and beyond.

Setting Description:
John Cabot University’s campus is situated in the charming neighborhood of Trastevere in the historic center of the city. Rome’s important tourist attractions are within a short walking distance from campus. Campus facilities include the library, beautiful terraces and courtyards, studio art facilities, computer and multimedia labs, cafeteria, and fitness center.

Term: Summer I (application deadline: April 1)
3 credits: $4,700 for 1 course plus housing
6 credits: $6,300 for 2 courses plus housing

Term: Summer II (application deadline: May 1)
3 credits: $4,700 for 1 course plus housing
6 credits: $6,300 for 2 courses plus housing

Term: Fall (Application deadline: May 15)
10-17 credit hours plus housing: $16,750

Term: Spring (Application deadline: Oct 15)
