The poetic term “The Land Below the Wind” refers to those Southeast Asian countries whose ecosystems experience seasonal rains and dry, warm winters, such as those of Cambodia and Laos. Participants in “The Land Below the Wind” will have a chance to experience the way of life that has grown out of this ecosystem as we travel by boat and study how the lives of Cambodians and Laotians revolve around this precious natural resource. | ||
