The Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology offers postbaccalaureate and master's-level students in speech- language pathology as well as post-master's speech-language pathologists an opportunity to earn 6 graduate points or 60 New York State continuing education units while living and studying in Sweden. Sweden is a country known for its state-of-the-art approaches to speech science and speech-disorder remediation. Housed in the Department of Logopedics and Phoniatrics of Lund University in Lund, Sweden, the program combines lectures with directed enrichment activities. Founded in 1666, Lund University— the largest and most comprehensive university in Sweden—is a major international institution located in a small city over 1,000 years old. Home to over 37,000 students throughout the academic year and into early summer, this historic city is filled with student cafés, bookstores, museums, and parks, all within walking distance of the university center.
