This faculty guided study tour pays attention to some of the main geographic features in the Middle East by showcasing the extraordinary diversity of Egypt's physical, cultural, and social landscapes. Examples of such features include the Mediterranean Sea, Suez Canal, Red Sea, Nile River, and the Gulf of Akkaba. During this wonderful program students will: tour Cairo, the historic capital city of Egypt; visit Alexandria to see the continuity of the ancient and modern on the Mediterranean Sea; take a cruise down the Nile to see the Pharonic temples and the Modern High Dam; explore the Sinai Peninsula, the only land bridge between Africa and the Eastern Hemisphere; visit Sharma El-sheikh, which gave the Red Sea an international reputation as one of the world's
