Towson University Exploring Asian Wisdom: Philosophy, Religion, and Culture in China Contact:	Discover the Chinese contribution to philosophy and religion in the East Asian tradition with Prof. Suck Choi in January 2010. You will examine Chinese traditional and modern philosophy and religion, focusing on Buddhism, Confucianism, Neo-Confucianism, art history and contemporary industry. This course will offer diverse experiences and resources to expose participants to the Chinese culture. Students will spend time in Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, and Xitang. Participants will explore Chinese traditional spirituality through visits to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the Great Mosque, the Big and Small Wild Goose Pagodas, the Shanghai Museum, and the Jade Buddha Temple, to name a few. You will also tour and meet students at Renmin University in Beijing and Donghua University in Shangai.
