Hollins Abroad-Paris is a distinctive program combining outstanding classes, field trips in and around Paris, guided group excursions to other regions of France, and special academic options to provide a comprehensive French cultural experience.

Hollins Abroad-Paris turns the city into your classroom with courses taught by expert French faculty and field trips that take advantage of the historical, political, architectural, and cultural riches riches of Paris. Hollins Abroad-Paris offers courses in French language, literature, art, theatre, architecture, film, economics, politics, and international relations. All courses are taught in French by instructors who are experienced in teaching non-native speakers.

Program fee includes: - Tuition - All course related field trips except theatre tickets - Accommodation - All meals - Comprehensive health insurance while abroad - Pass for the Paris metro and bus system - Orientation program on the Hollins campus and in Paris - Four-day field trip (transportation, accommodations, some meals, guided tours) - Two weekend excursions (transportation, accommodations, some meals, guided tours) - Pick up from airport on arrival - Internet access (wireless and program computers) at Reid Hall - Program handbook and other materials - International Student ID Card - Comprehensive visa advice/assistance
Setting Description:
Hollins Abroad's offices and classrooms are located in Reid Hall, just off Boulevard Montparnasse, near the Jardin du Luxembourg and close to the Sorbonne. It's a lively neighborhood, whose streets were once the haunts of Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Eugène Ionesco, and Pablo Picasso, and are still a center of Parisian intellectual and artistic life.
