Projects Abroad Conservation in Costa Rica Contact:	Located at a wildlife research station on Playa Ostional, three and a half hours south of our main base in Liberia, volunteers work alongside scientists at the camp to assist with the protection of sea turtles. This stretch of coast is the regular nesting site for hundreds of Olive Ridley and Hawksbill turtles and you may also be lucky enough to see the magnificent Leatherback turtle, the largest of all species of sea turtle.
