You'll undertake a number of tasks and generally be asked to help out in a number of areas, thus giving your placement wide variety and hopefully you can learn a great deal from the placement. You'll work in a variety of roles at the newspaper depending on your ability as a journalist and you will be assigned various different tasks and jobs to undertake.
Here is a breakdown of the job roles that you may be assigned: planning, preparing, investigating and writing, plus anything else that may be required at the time that you're there. For example, at times you may be expected to take your own photos (if you're good enough with a camera) or plan your own arrangements to do a story, including arranging your own transport to get to the story.
The newspaper covers a broad range of subjects, from business, sport, news and local stories to many of the other features that can be found in most newspapers. It is unlikely that you will focus in just one specific area but a bit of everything. | ||

Working in this Law firm will give you the opportunity to gain experience in the day-to-day running of a law practice.
