Aspire by API
Aspire by API is the new division of Academic Programs International (API), an educational organization that has been sending university students abroad to study since 1997. Aspire by API is dedicated to providing comprehensive summer study abroad programs for high school students as well as gap year abroad programs for recent high school graduates. Our language and cultural immersion programs provide students with educational opportunities to learn and develop relevant global skills in an exciting, enriching, safe, and secure setting. We aim to start each student on a path of lifelong global citizenship through participation in an ASPIRE program.

Aspire by API offers two great program options (spring break and summer terms available) in Costa Rica - a Costa Rican Language and Culture Immersion program that provides students with the opportunity to live with host families and practice their Spanish inside and outside the classroom; and a Costa Rican Nature and Adventure Travel Tour, which allows students to experience the natural wonders of Costa Rica!

The Aspire French Language and Culture Immersion Program provides students with the opportunity to study at the Institute Catholique de Paris and earn college credit! The summer session provides a general overview of French language and culture for all levels.

Students will take classes for college credit at University College Cork (UCC). Topics include history and literature, from an Irish perspective.

Aspire by API offers two different international experiences in the timeless city of Florence: the Italian Experience Program provides students with an opportunity to explore Italian language, culture, art, and cooking; while the Soccer Skills in Italy program offers students with a passion for soccer the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train in soccer the Italian way, at the home of the Italian national team!
