The interdisciplinary coursework in the Uganda: Post-Conflict Transformation program focuses on the history, culture, politics and recovery of Uganda and Rwanda, as well as the relevant political, social, and economic issues affecting those countries today. Students examine the history of the conflicts in question, their effects on Ugandan and Rwandan society, and a wide range of efforts to recover from devastating and widespread violence.
