As a Direct Enrollment program, IES Adelaide offers the opportunity to enroll at the University of Adelaide. The University of Adelaide, founded in 1874, is one of Australia's premier "sandstone" (Ivy League) universities.
The State University of New York (SUNY) currently offers more than 400 overseas study programs in more than 50 countries: in North and South America, Africa, Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Programs range from 2-3 week intensive courses to a semester or academic year abroad. Courses are available in more than 100 subjects, ranging alphabetically from aboriginal studies and aerospace engineering to western philosophy and women's studies. While many programs focus on language learning and are conducted in the language of the host country, many others are conducted wholly or partly in English.

The University of Adelaide is Australia's third oldest and most prestigious "Ivy League" University. Participants will have the opportunity to enroll in regular university classes at the University of Adelaide. Prior to departure, participants select three courses from those available to study abroad students at the University of Adelaide. All instruction is by University of Adelaide faculty. Fall semester typically runs from mid-July through November; spring from mid-February through June. Fields of study include liberal arts and social sciences.
Flinders University combines a safe, suburban location with convenience of regular bus service to the city. Founded in 1966, Flinders is a modern, progressive university with an international reputation for teaching and research. Student enrollment is approximately 10,000.
