SUNY Brockport offers four program opportunities in Scotland during the academic year. Host institutions include: Queen Margaret University College, University of St. Andrews, University of Stirling and the University of Strathclyde. Queen Margaret University College : QMUC is a university-level institution based on a modern campus about 4 miles from Edinburgh's city center. The College's courses fall into 3 broad categories: Health Care, Business Management and Information, and Theatre Arts. University of St. Andrews : The University of St. Andrews is the oldest university in Scotland and today ranks among Britain's top 10 universities. St. Andrews is closely integrated with the town, and academic buildings and student accommodation are interspersed among shops, pubs and residential housing. Participants enroll directly into regular university classes. Fields of study include anthropology, art history, divinity, economics, geography, math, physics, and social sciences. University of Stirling : The University of Stirling is home to the William Wallace national monument and picturesque Stirling castle. Stirling's location and comfortable manner have encouraged many recent participants to extend their length of study abroad beyond what they had originally planned. Fields of study include architecture, business, computer science, economics, education, fine, visual and performing arts, interior design, history, humanities, information technology, languages, literature, math, and practical classroom experience. Housing is in university dorms. University of Strathclyde : The University of Strathclyde is Scotland's third largest university with students representing over 90 countries. There are over 100 student clubs and societies, and some 40 different sports offered to students. Prior to departure, students select three or four courses in liberal arts areas from those available to study abroad students. | ||

Edinburgh Napier's academic year is divided into two semesters, autumn and spring. Students gain 60 Napier credits per semester (15 to 16 U.S. credits) by taking four modules (courses).
