This program brings students to four of the greatest cultures and civilizations that the world has ever known: Greece, Rome, India and China. The cumulative artistic, philosophical, religious, cultural and social output of these societies is staggering and has exerted a tremendous influence on the underpinnings of Western and Eastern civilization.

The program aims to balance study of the historical aspects of these societies with a more modern appreciation of cultural and societal differences. We are entering a modern era of globalization where the United States, Europe and Asia will play important and complementary roles.
