This program provides a great opportunity for beginner or intermediate Art or Art History students to advance their academic study and supplement it with a unique first hand view of European art.

The Semester in Europe: Custom program combines a traditional full immersion study abroad experience with a course module focused on developing intercultural competencies, specifically around European cultures. The module contains field and co-curricular exercises related to cultural issues that take place in Cyprus and on a 17-day trip through nine other European countries. The trip allows students to compare and contrast cultural practices throughout Europe with those of Cyprus and the United States. In addition to the intercultural module, students can select four courses of their choosing.

State University of New York College at Oswego (SUNY)

This is a direct enrollment program which means that participants normally take courses in German alongside German students. It is also possible to take courses in English from select Osnabruck departments. The SUNY-Oswego program is open to students with German proficiency, but it is not exclusively for German majors. Students must a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must have completed at least one year formal German language training to participate. Two years of formal language training is preferred.

The Universitat Konstanz was formed in 1966 as a \\"radical experiment\\" in education, replacing traditional lectures with smaller seminars, student interaction, and research-based teaching. Students will spend three (3) to six (6) months interning for German, American or European companies. Although English is widely spoken at many internship companies, moderate fluency in German is highly recommended. Students are required to have at least two semesters of college-level German or demonstrated German language ability. German language courses are available during your internship.
