View all programs for this schoolLatin American University of Science and Technology The Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) was founded in 1987 and received its accreditation that same year. The ULACIT offers courses in such diverse areas as Business, Law, Engineering, Humanities, Spanish and General Electives. It is the only private university in Costa Rica that requires Costa Rican students to take an international standardized admissions exam. This exam allows the university to uphold its commitment to academics by recruiting the brightest students in Costa Rica. There is an enrollment of approximately 3,500 Costa Ricans and 100 international students each semester. The facilities are very modern, and there is classroom space for up to 4,000 students. The university is conveniently located in downtown San José. ISA students will have full access to all university facilities such as Internet, study areas and the library.
