View all programs for this schoolUniversidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero The Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) is named after the Buenos Aires suburb in which the university is located. UNTREF is the first public university in Argentina to have ever designed a program specifically for foreign students and holds numerous teaching alliances with universities in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the United States. All of its professors hold international degrees and have worked or studied abroad themselves. Since the university's inauguration in 1995 has grown to offer 18 different majors to over 3000 students. The UNTREF is fully accredited by the Argentine Ministry of Education. While students will be taught by UNTREF staff, classes will be held at the Centro Cultural Borges in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The CCB is located within the Galerías Pacífico which is one of the most well-known historical buildings in the city. The CCB holds a variety of cultural expositions, performances, art exhibits, film screenings, and workshops throughout the year. The Center also works with other cultural institutions, museums, art centers, universities, private collectors, and curators from Argentina and abroad to facilitate dialogue and the exchange of ideas. University of Belgrano The University of Belgrano (UB) is a private institution that was founded in 1964. The UB's goals are to provide high-quality education, to promote research in all disciplines, and to foster the social and cultural development of the community. After more than thirty years of continuous growth, the University of Belgrano now has thirteen schools devoted to both undergraduate and graduate education in several fields. More than 14,000 students are enrolled in 33 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate programs. The University offers month, summer, semester and year language programs for international studies. The University itself is situated in a lovely urban area surrounded by parks and residential neighborhoods. Nearby is the commercial center of Belgrano, a suburb in northeast Buenos Aires, only a quick subway or bus-ride away from downtown Buenos Aires. University of El Salvador Located within a 10-block radius in buildings throughout downtown Buenos Aires, USAL has been delivering thought-provoking classes in the humanities for over fifty years. USAL has 18,000 students among its seven campuses in numerous undergraduate and graduate programs.
