NYU’s portal campuses—in New York City, Abu Dhabi, and soon in Shanghai—form the backbone of a fully interconnected global network university. No matter where students choose to study, they’ll interact with NYU students (in person or virtually) at the three portal campuses and at NYU’s 10 global academic centers in Accra, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Shanghai, and Tel Aviv. Two new academic centers are scheduled to open in Washington DC, and Sydney in fall 2012, giving students even more destinations from which to choose when researching global opportunities to include in their undergraduate education.
NYU’s global academic centers offer students all of the benefits that they expect to receive from the largest private university in the US. The academic centers feature modern facilities, a full-time student services staff, and curricula that meet NYU’s high academic standards. Top scholars, artists, writers, business professionals, and politicians teach courses that follow a standard US curriculum, making it easy for students to stay on track with their degree requirements and receive credit transfer upon return to their home institutions. No matter which location students choose, they are bound to have an experience that they will remember long after they graduate and begin their professional lives.
