AUSTRIA Salzburg College SemesterINTRODUCTION Salzburg is located in the heart of the Old City of Salzburg. With a population of 140,000, it is situated on the northern edge of the German Border. Surrounded by picturesque mountains, the city is filled with over a thousand years of European history and culture. Its rich musical heritage is reflectedin a variety of concerts and other musical events held throughout the year. The college is a small, private AustrianInstitution, which has conducted European Studies programs for 27 years. HOUSING AND MEALS Students are housed in an Austrian home-stay, and the program costs includeall housing and meals in Salzburg. Host families provide breakfast, dinner and weekend meals, and weekday lunches are served at the college. COST* Semester: $8,327 (a $2,500 deposit, subtracted from total fees, is required five weeks prior to the beginning of the semester). Costs include: instructional costs abroad, orientation, administrative fees, Germany field trip, course-related excursions, full room (Austrian home-stay), half-board (in Salzburg), and insurance. Not Included: Airfare, personal costs, Books.
REQUIREMENTS 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale, sophomore standing or higher.
