Program Description:

Music, dance, theatre, architecture, and crafts are important parts of Balinese culture. Through this program, students will experience these arts by interacting with the local people and gaining knowledge about the inseparable relationship of the arts, religion, and culture on Bali. Through these artistic fieldwork experiences, students will also encounter firsthand cultural information reinforcing the theories acquired in ethnomusicology, art history, and anthropology courses.
