Program Overview

Program Description:
An alternative route to the MSc Management (Standard Route), MSc International Management (CEMS/IMEX Route) offers the opportunity to spend a period of study abroad through either the CEMS or IMEX programmes. CEMS (Community of European Management Schools) is a consortium of 17 European Management Schools of which LSE is the UK representative. In addition to completion of academic studies on the MSc, CEMS students must also participate in further compulsory components in order to obtain the CEMS MIM degree. These include the ability to demonstrate competence in three languages, an internship (minimum 10 weeks), a one week minimum blocked seminar prior to the start of the MSc and skills seminars. It is a prerequisite that selected students will have studied management/business related subjects at undergraduate level. The IMEX route involves a term of study abroad at a prestigious Management School in North America where students will take courses from MBA programmes. Interested students should contact the CEMS/IMEX Coordinator, Mrs Julie Fordham for further information. At LSE, students will take units from the MSC Management and Strategy and another half unit from other courses at the School. Courses to the value of one unit must be completed abroad. Plus dissertation.
